President's Message

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Rotary Club of the Original Mile. Whether you're a longtime Rotarian, a community leader, or someone simply looking for a way to make a difference, we're honored you're here.

This Rotary year marks an exciting milestone as we begin our journey as the first new Rotary club established in Midwest City in nearly 70 years. While we are a new club, we are built on Rotary's timeless values of Service Above Self, integrity, fellowship, leadership, and a shared commitment to strengthening our community. We know that meaningful change begins with people who are willing to step forward, and we're excited about the impact we can make together.

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the Charter President of this incredible club. From our very first service projects supporting Mid-Del students through our Back-to-School Drive to future initiatives focused on education, community development, environmental stewardship, and humanitarian service, our goal is simple: to leave our community better than we found it. At the same time, we proudly support Rotary International's global efforts, including the fight to eradicate polio, expand access to clean water, promote peace, and improve lives around the world.

Our club was founded with a vision of making Rotary welcoming, engaging, and accessible to everyone. We believe service should be meaningful, friendships should be genuine, and every member should have the opportunity to make a lasting difference.

I invite you to join us at one of our meetings and experience Rotary for yourself. We meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Forum Room of the Midwest City Library. Whether you're interested in becoming a member, partnering on a service project, or simply learning more about what we do, you'll always find a welcoming place at our table.
